Mazda Shows MY 2010 CX-9
Mazda has taken the wraps off the 2010 CX-9 at the New York International Auto Show.
For the 2010 model year, the CX-9 receives a significant exterior and interior face lift, added options and reinforced safety features.
Key enhancements include:

New family face features including a bolder five-point grille, radiator grille, front combination lamps and fog lamps

New 20-inch and 18-inch wheel design

Larger, more aerodynamic side mirrors

Rear garnish, which compliments the look of the front fascia design

Rear combination lamps that mimic the same Nagare-inspired texture as front lamps, while incorporating a new red lens at the bottom to show stability

New exterior color – Dolphin Gray
New for 2010, upscale interior appointments further enhance the level of quality while maintaining the basic styling theme of the outgoing model. Enhancements include:

Chrome accents on centre IP, A/C controls, automatic transmission lever knob, vent louver knobs, inner door handles and door trim

New fabric seating surfaces

Piano-black insets on steering wheel and around audio display

Smooth leather and subtle stitching on seating surfaces offer a more quality-feel (standard on Touring and Grand Touring models)

High-density fabric provides richer look and softer touch for cloth seats (Sport models)

New double-lid design centre console allows for ease of opening and has ample storage for up to four DVDs and nine CDs
The 2010 CX-9 is powered by a 273-horsepower (204kW) 3.7-litre V6 engine.

Mazda CX-9 is offered in three trim levels: Sport, Touring and Grand Touring. All models include air conditioning, power windows, power door locks with remote keyless entry, trip computer, cruise control, six air bags, Bluetooth® phone capability and a choice of black or beige interior hues.
The CX-9 Sport is equipped with 18-inch aluminum wheels and tires, halogen headlamps, Bluetooth® hands-free phone capability and cloth upholstery. Power front seat adjusters are optional.
Stepping up to the Touring model adds leather seat trim, power front-seat adjusters. The top Grand Touring edition rolls on 20-inch aluminum wheels. It’s also equipped with the aforementioned Touring equipment plus bright exterior door handles, rain-sensing wipers, an anti-theft alarm system, exterior mirrors with turn indicators, a three-position memory driver’s seat, Blind Spot Monitoring system, Homelink auto-dimming rearview mirror, the Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry and Start System, wood-like instrument panel trim, wood-like door trim, indirect blue interior lighting and a silver finish for the side surfaces of the rear console. New features for 2010 include:

Redesigned climate control system for rear seating areas

Redesigned Advanced Keyless Entry and Start System key fob, which replaces the outgoing key card design (Grand Touring models)

Available new 4.3-inch, full color LCD display audio system that allows intuitive operation of AM/FM radio, MP3-capable CD changer, SIRIUS satellite radio, auxiliary input jack, hands-free phone, and iPod connectivity, and serves as a back-up camera display. (Touring and Grand Touring models equipped with BOSE® package)

Two-stage heated seats (standard on Touring and Grand Touring, available on Sport)
Mazda CX-9 offers as optional features a factory towing package, power sunroof, BOSE® audio system, power lift gate, and a rear-seat entertainment system. Navigation is available as a stand-alone option (on Grand Touring models) and includes a DVD navigation system, and back-up monitor.
New for 2010, the back-up monitor system is equipped with a wide-angle camera, which improves the field of vision, allowing for a wider view of objects or people that may be behind the vehicle.
