Subaru Impreza XV 2010 Subaru is making the most of its all wheel drive system in Impreza by developing a soft-roader variant aimed at younger, more adventurous audience. The company has launched the XV Impreza which rides 30mm higher than other naturally-aspirated Imprezas.

Toyota RAV4 Now Offered With 2WD Toyota has finally begun to import two-wheel drive versions of its RAV4 to Australia. This is due to a reduction in import duty on cars, which means they now come here at the same rate as commercial vehicles. Previously an anomaly in the system saw passenger SUVs being classed as commercials, thereby attraction a lower tariff. But they needed to have 4WD to be classed as commercials.

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee: Latest Images The all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee will be released in Australia in January 2011. The announcement of the long-awaited new model came as the Chrysler Group released the first images of the luxury off-roader in the United States. The vehicle was described as an American icon and symbol of the new Chrysler, following Chrysler's take-over by Italian giant, Fiat, last year.

Suzuki Kizashi Mid-Size Sedan First Drive Bucking the trend by almost all car manufacturers that is sees smaller-is-better cars and engines, Japanese small-car specialist Suzuki has launched it's first ever medium size car, the Kizashi. Powered by a 2.4 litre four cylinder engine based on the power plant in the Grand Vitara 4WD, the Kizashi is 4.650mm long, placing is squarely in the medium-size family sedan bracket.

2010 Mercedes Benz SLK 300 Mercedes Benz has added a new string to it's SLK bow with the launch of the SLK 300 – a second, smaller V6-powered variant – of the car that enjoys cult status for the well-heeled. The new variant has a 3.0 litre V6 producing 170 kW of power and 300 Nm of torque run through a seven speed auto transmission.
